EMMERDALE has revealed that 10 villagers will be left fighting for their lives in four deadly stunts including a waterfall disaster during next week’s special episodes.
At least one major character is set to lose their life during the Super Soap Week as Priya Kotecha and Ellis Chapman’s big survival challenge is derailed by serial killer Meena Jutla.
As the challenge begins and the contestants jump into their rafts and set off down the river, Meena spots an opportunity to exact revenge against Victoria for stealing her boyfriend.
Viewers will later see Meena holding Victoria’s lifeless body under the water, but is everything as is seems?
Victoria isn’t the only villager at risk next week as on-off lovers Mack and Charity separate themselves from the group in an attempt to cheat.
When Mack hears a loud scream coming from the edge of the pond and sees a large ripple moving across the water, he panics that Charity has drowned.
Will he manage to save her in time?
Priya, Ellis, Marlon and Paddy could also find themselves in danger as they wander away from the main group into the woods.
Will they return in one piece?
Emmerdale bosses have promised four huge stunts including a deadly waterfall disaster and drama surrounding a giant maze.
Talking about the dramatic week of episodes, producer Kate Brooks told The Sun: “It’s an adrenaline rush from the very start as twists and stunts come thick and fast and you can’t catch your breath.
“The glorious stunning landscapes are utilised and very focal, the brilliant [director] Duncan Foster is brilliant to bring the scripts to life.
“The week will catapult viewers to the heart of this beautiful but very dangerous environment.
“There are jaw dropping stunts, rapids and waterfall sequences as we subvert expectations.
“The denouement is the massive maze. We love stunts but it’s not just about the ambitious and impressive stunts – at the heart of the week lie relationships, secrets, hearts broken and with Meena involved and hellbent on revenge on Victoria, not everyone will get out alive.”
Teasing two huge stunts coming towards the end of the week, she added: “We have a white knuckle ride through the icy rapids that will plunge characters into real peril.
“We have a never before seen on soap waterfall stunt – honestly it’s spectacular, hats off to Duncan and the team.
“That is the tip of the iceberg but there are two other heart-stopping top secret stunts but you will have to wait and see about those…”
Teasing which villagers may meet their end, Kate added: ““It is very safe to say there will be a lot of repercussions, what happens will impact some of our well loved characters.

“This is just the start of something that will change lives forever. It’s big exciting and explosive but these weeks fall short if they don’t give us bigger stories coming out.
“It was imperative to root it in character driven stories as much as the stunts and visuals.
“Some characters get a happy ever after, others aren’t so lucky…”
