FRANKIE Bridge has revealed she is ‘absolutely terrified’ of taking part in the eating trials because she is such a fussy eater.

The 32-year-old will be entering the castle this evening alongside a host of famous faces as they battle it out to be crowned King or Queen.

But the Saturdays singer is already worried about what’s to come, with the infamous eating trial at the top of her concerns, thanks to prospect of chowing down on the likes of sheeps brain, vomit fruit and goats eyes.

Speaking ahead of entering, Frankie admitted: “I am quite a fussy eater. The rice and beans isn’t stressing me out. If I end up doing an eating trial I’m absolutely terrified for that.

“If something’s going to make me sick or it’s hard to swallow.. I just don’t know how I’m going to manage.

“I dread to think what’s going to come down for dinners. I’ll just be like ‘oh nooo’. Even where to start cooking it, I have no idea. It’s going to be a learning curve. It will depend how hungry I am.”

Frankie is following in the footsteps of her husband, former footballer Wayne Bridge, who took part in the programme in Australia in 2016.

Wayne and her two sons, Parker and Carter tried preparing her for what to expect over the coming weeks.

They put her through her paces as they created their very own brutal eating challenge.

However, it wasn’t as bad as it seemed as she only had to eat milkshake powder, chocolate custard and ketchup.

She admitted she preferred the show’s new location because it meant she was closer to the boys.

The star said her husband loved his experience which had made her curious about taking part.

She explained:  “I’ve always been intrigued because I can’t see how the two things add up, all these scary challenges and yet coming out and absolutely loving it.

“So, for me, the fact that it’s in Wales, although not so warm as Australia, I’m in the same country as my kids.

“So it seemed like a really good time for me to do it and not feel like I was on the other side of the world to the boys.

“And I hope that I come out of it having conquered and the boys thinking that I’m pretty cool.”
