    Cable installers best friend!!We used this right away to fish new communication cable through a 4″ conduit that was 387′ long. We had another job lined up for it at the same hospital were our normal fishtapes were unable to get through a conduit because it was broken underground, this one blew straight through it. We have the 1/2″ model so it has no trouble getting through where others just bend and stop. We had no trouble with the tips coming off like other posts I’ve seen here and it comes with different tips built right into the stand incase you need to push instead of pull. It is built really well so I have no doubts about how long it will last us. I highly recommend this to any company that runs cable, this tool will pay for itself in no time at all.

    Good tool if you have time to prep itLike so many others, I got it to get me through some longer fishing expeditions. Quality is marginal. Reel is well enough constructed but the brake handle is clumsy. The actual rod is fine, but the markings on it are terrible, in black ink but not distinct, measure in meters, and are un-readable in many places on the rod.Major design flaws: the rod does not have a threaded tip on it, so if you want to mount any leader or tool you have to get your own adapter. The reel stand has 2 egg beater heads with female thread mounted to it for storage, but the thread on these does not match anything and there is no provided means of adapting them to the rod. The rod was fine for fishing and conduit proofing, and it got me through a job ok, but it really needs to have adapters with a properly threaded tip on the rod.

    Falls ApartAll the welds are coming apart after 20 days of use. Do not recommend this as it is very cheaply made.

    Way too expensiveWay overpriced. There are places you can get it for $80. Fish tape is ok but doesn’t worth that money.
