Bright light. Quiet fan. Solid construction.The hood does what it is supposed to do pretty well. The LED lights are a nice temperature, not super warm, maybe a touch on the cold side. The highest LED setting is BRIGHT! The lowest is great for normal use. It is definitely not a dim orangey nightlight brightness.The fan is really quiet on the low setting and quite reasonable on the highest. The fan moves a lot of air. We have it installed as interior venting. The exhaust is right at the front of the flat top of the hood and creates a venturi effect drawing a bit of air from under the hood. Air, fumes, smoke move well through the filters, but airflow from a a few inches in from the front of the hood get sucked up by the venturi unfiltered. Using a higher fan setting really does not help this as the exhaust speeds up creating a greater draw.We are happy with this unit so far. The black matches with the stovetop nicely. We have smoky black chrome finish on the appliances and wondered if the black would work. It does since the stovetop is black.

It is well made, lots of light, semi gloss.The unit did not come with the charcole filters. I had ordered them because a reviewer had mentioned that. It was easy for my installer to install, although because of the weight there had to be two of them. The hood came sooner than expected. I had to call and have customer service email the product booklet to me. I came with instructions, but not all of them. Customer service was promt to answer the phone. That was a big plus.I would buy from this company again.

Works very wellI actually replaced an old Broan with this new one. It was about 20 years old and I always liked the way it worked. The new one is really awesome. Nice LED lights and 2 fans instead of one. It works really well and was east to install.

EZ 1 brackets2nd update… After finding the brackets, the rest of the install was fairly painless. I do however have challenges for any hood installation that I won’t get into. the unit is quiet on it’s lowest fan setting, and certainly quieter than my previous hood at the higher fan settings. Did not come with a user manual, does come with install instructions and templates.1st update… Eureka Brackets found! After some disassembly of the interior covers, located between the fans.Video shows EZ 1 brackets included, mine didn’t come with then. I may update my rating after I figure out how to install it without brackets or find a source for the brackets.

Good range hood fan.The instructions were somewhat unclear. I don’t know why they couldn’t use photos instead of diagrams, and properly label the actual parts on the vent. It is much better than our old single fan Broan and doesn’t rattle like the old one.

Excellent noise & suction, auto sense heatPros: excellent noise levels, suction, controls, looks, ease for cleaningCons: Impossible for 1 person to install, area too tight for 2 people. I did all of the preparation per instructions. I hired an installer just to screw it into place, and he ended up having to use things under it to hold it in place.So, awkward installing it. I handled everything else other than screwing it in. Wiring, everything. Plan on help or a way to hold it in place to screw it in.

Very PleasedThis hood works very well in preventing a “smoky” kitchen when frying things like sausages and similar fatty breakfast items. I also use a three-panel spatter shield to better direct the smoke to the hood and keep the surrounding area relatively clean. Previous single-fan hoods weren’t up to the task, and this one has the same form factor as the less efficient ones. The included mounting rails makes installation very easy.

No regretsThere is a lot of hype in the self-descriptions of range hoods. Six months in, I’m very glad that I selected this one to replace the over-the-stove microwave that came with my condo. Although it is placed higher than recommended it still pulls well, and the lower two speeds are not annoyingly loud. I had a professional put it in, and it looked easy when he did it.
