surprisingly handyThis blower is now a go-to tool around my garage and walkway. It is lightweight and very easy to use. It is not a powerful blower intended for heavy lawn use, and it is not inexpensive. Nonetheless, I have found plenty of uses for the blower and enjoy its lightweight (cordless) maneuverability and the convenience of having it nearby and readily accessible.

Amazing for its sizeI really am impressed how easy it is on my body. Fatigue is at a minimum and its perfect for light duty clean up in the areas close to the house.Battery power usage is very efficient it seems.

Works good for inflating water toys.Bought this for our 5th wheel to both inflate water inflatable toys and keep the camper porch clean. It works well for inflating and does an ok job as a blower. It is compact and light weight. If you just want a leaf blower I would get a bigger one.

The battery is included for $50 less than everybody else.Small, lightweight, powerful, three speeds. Better around the pool deck than the large blowers.

This has great power and is easy to handle! We have the larger Dewalt leaf blower also, I prefer this one as a petite woman. I have no issues accomplishing any job- big or small! Every garage needs one!

Charge battery packs for at least 12hr before usingEZ to use, just make sure you read the owner’s manual before using ie: battery charging and storage of battery packs. This is what I learned from a DeWalt engineer years ago when I worked for SB&D. The manufacturer will do a initial charge on the pack but packs are not always fully charged for quality control inspections as well as the batteries need to be stored at least partially charged so the cells aren’t damaged before it’s sold at retail. There are several individual battery cells inside the battery pack that will need to be fully charged before the initial use. By not charging the battery pack fully at least 12 hours ,and ideally 48 hours before you initially use the battery pack (The red flashing light on the charger will stop flashing well before 12 hours indicating the pack is charged disregard and leave the pack on the charger so it can level off each individual cell) You will run the risk of damaging the individual cells inside the pack. Which will ultimately decrease the life and run time of the battery. This statement is not only for DeWalt batteries this is best practice for all re-chargeable battery packs unless the mfg. states otherwise. The Li packs have heat indicator cutoff to protect the pack from overheating during fast drain applications ( Running a tool consecutively in which the battery is drained in less than 10 minutes) feature may confuse end-users to think the battery needs to be re-charged when in fact the pack just needs to cool off. Do not try to charge the battery immediately following fast drain applications, this may result in damaging the cells. Li batteries also shouldn’t be stored or charged when or where temperatures are lower than 40’ f or greater than 90’ f.I have several batteries and I’ll swap them out once I feel I’m getting close to using the full charge. This allows me to recharge my used packs faster, and ultimately allows me to work non-stop throughout the day. I do this consistently and I still have DeWalt batteries from 2010 that work great.

Not for leaf managementWhile this blower use the same battery system that my trimmer uses, it is more suited to blowin a single acorn down my driveway rather than helping to round up the 15+ large bags of leaves that my trees will produce. Granted, there is honor in blowing the brake dust from a garage floor, but there is a need to MOVE a great volume of leaves, not gently caress individual ones.
