Description

The DEWALT DCS350D1 20V max* cordless threaded rod Cutter is able to cut 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″ mild steel coarse threaded rod, as well as 1/4″, 3/8″ stainless steel coarse threaded rod. Clean, Bur free cuts allowing for easy threading, with chip and spark free cutting of threaded rod. A rotating Cutter allows you to cut multiple sizes of rod with one Cutter. This Cutter has a bright LED work light to illuminate cutting area. It also features onboard Cutter wrench storage. Includes: (1) threaded rod Cutter, (1) DCB203 2Ah Li-Ion battery, (1) 12V/20V max* battery charger, Cutter wrench, (2) four sided Cutter head, and kit bag.

    A real time-saver!I’m a theatrical rigger/installer, this thing saves me so much time and hassle vs cutting all-thread with a handsaw. I will NEVER go back.

    Not worth $300Maybe half the cuts come out clean without burrs on the end. Looked at a lot of reviews before hand and looked like a very useful tool. We do a lot of commercial mechanical work and my guys maybe cut 20 pieces for unistrut and it sat in the truck ever since. I could understand if it was a $100 tool but for $300!?!? Quicker to do it the old fashion way.

    No more burr to worry about, instant thread.The biggest advantage is I can continue cutting the exact length of the rod, without removing it from the ceiling and able to continue threading the nut on it.On top of that, it is quiet, with no spark so no safety glasses nor ear muffle.

    Make sure to sit threads onto dies before cutting or you can damage the dieIt’s awesome! Cuts three sizes of regular and plated rod and two sizes of stainless rod. Cuts fast. Like a hydraulic press. Even has a light to help see.
