    It does almost everything except makes coffee …. 😢I had the old DeWalt 12v driver and never liked it. Fast forward a few decades to a few weeks ago when I forgot to bring extra batteries for my whippy Rigid driver to a job site so I order this renewed (used) XR driver since I have the DeWalt 60v/20v flex battery from my sawzall …. I love the DeWalt sawzall BTW. It got to the job site the next morning and … I love this driver! It has so much torque when paired with the 6A battery pack. I used it as my main driver with a #2 Philip bit, a drill, a drill with long extenders and spade bit, and I take it home in the weekend to remove the lug nuts to rotate the tires on my truck. This thing has so much torque …. and I use all of it on the job site as well as in my garage. Now let’s look at them XR drills 😢 😢

    Excellent DriverMy new favorite power tool. I have most of the Dewault 20 V Max XR products. This is the one that gets most use. I’m not a mechanic and was hesitant at first to get an impact driver. Didnt understand why my drill couldn’t handle the same jobs. I was wrong! Drills are for drilling, not optimized for driving screws and bolts. This is light, easy to use, and reliable. no more stripping screw heads. Totally recommend!

    Yoooooo… buy this impact!I work in carpentry and construction and this is a must-have power tool for you bag. With the 3 speed settings and a variable speed trigger, you have all the power and torque you need at your fingertips. DeWalt has not failed me yet and this is a tool I will purchase again when the time comes.

    If you’ve been using a drill to drive screws…I inherited a DeWalt drill that I used to construct a 4′ x 8′ x 2′ garden bed. It made it through exactly one bed before the battery died. 32 screws that were 3 1/2 inches long, and it was done. Kept seeing these impact drivers on TV, so I decided to get one. This tool not only drives the screws so much faster, it did 8 garden beds on one 4 amp hour battery and the battery is still showing 66% on the display.So I guess the lesson is: drills make terrible screwdrivers. Get an impact driver instead and you’ll never even consider looking back.
