Whole House

Long Lasting Filtration

Protect your home, health, and appliances by filtering all of your incoming water. The Express Water Whole House 3 Stage Water Filter filters major impurities from your water supply and provides clean water for drinking, showering, cooking, and other home uses. This system filters major water impurities like Chlorine, Rust, Dirt, Sand, Silt, Turbidity, Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC), Cloudiness, Industrial Solvents, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Pharmaceuticals, Turbidity, Odors, and Cloudiness.

Save your time and your money with high capacity filters. On average each set of filters is good for up to 100,000 gallons or 6-12 months of use, depending on incoming water quality, temperature, and incoming pressure.

Comes complete with a full filter set, including Sediment, Granular Activated Carbon, and Activated Carbon Block Filter. Filter changes are quick and easy with a simple, efficient design.

Stage 1: Sediment (SED)

Stage 1: Sediment (SED)

The first stage of filtration is your Sediment Filter. This prevents coarse, damaging impurities like sand, rust, and dirt from damaging your appliances and your other filters.

Made with precision packed food-grade polypropylene microfiber, our sediment filters feature 4 distinct layers catching impurities down to 5 microns. The outer layers catch the coarsest impurities and the inner layers catch finer sediments and particles. This means your filter lasts longer and catches more before it needs to be replaced.

Stage 2: Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)

Stage 2: Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)

The second stage of your Whole House System is a Granular Activated Carbon Filter. The GAC captures Chlorine, Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC), Industrial Solvents, and Chemicals causing bad taste, odor, and cloudiness. This stage is focused on capturing chemical impurities.

The GAC is made with efficiently distributed carbon granules to create full coverage filtration. Our Equal Flow GAC design gives you maximum chemical absorption, and is finished with a thermal bonded cap and industrial sealed silicon ring, making it durable and reliable.

Stage 3: Activated Carbon Block (ACB)

Stage 3: Activated Carbon Block (ACB)

The third stage filter is your Activated Carbon Block. The ACB Filter captures Chlorine, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Pharmaceuticals, Turbidity, and Chemicals causing bad tastes and odors. This stage focuses on taste and drinkability of your water and filtering chemicals.

The ACB is made with tight packed, laboratory vacuum heated carbon for high capacity filtration, maximizing the surface area of carbon to give you long service life, and finished with a thermal bonded cap and industrial sealed silicon ring to make sure it’s durable and reliable.

10 reviews for Express Water Whole House Water Filter – 3 Stage Home Water Filtration System – Sediment, Coconut Shell Carbon Filters –

Nice SystemInstalled system today, my advice is to use shark bite fittings, easier to tighten any fittings that are going to leak. Not too difficult to install, but I did have to rearrange the filters because of how water entered house. Not a big issue. What surprised me was how dirty pre filter is with just flushing out new system. No longer white and already turning brown, I am on City water and didn’t expect that to happen so early. Glad I got system installed. I would recommend this system.

Didnt know my water was this badWe are on city water. We usually drink filtered water or bottled water but we bathe and launder our clothes on tap. About a year ago i started developing a rash that spread over my arms and legs and back. My wife also noticed really itchy skin and red spots. After much diet adjustment and some dermatologist visits we decided to see if our water was the problem. We dont have a water softener and we do have hard water. A cheap water test didnt show anything too concerning except an elevated chlorine marker, but still within normal range.I researched water filters and decided on this for its relatively low initial cost. Install was easy, tho buying the sharkbite connections was expensive as i setup a bypass. I used a lot of teflon tape and a 1inch male to male brass nipple that connected to a 1inch to 3/4 sharkbite water softener hose, which then connects to 3/4 pex. I check it daily for leaks and havent noticed any. I also put a leak detector in the area to alert us if something happens. The unit is bigger than the pictures suggest and it feels very well made. I attached pictures of day 1 vs day 4 and theres significant discoloration of the sediment filter after only 4 days. We also have noticed greatly improved skin after only a few days. I greatly believe that what goes in our body has a huge effect on our health i just never considered that our cities water was bad enough to cause such dramatic symptoms. The filters are going to run about $100-$125 a year but we were already paying 50-80 just for fridge filters and this does the whole house. It sucks that we have to have that expense considering how much we pay for water supply but i wouldnt be surprised if more health issues are due to something we take for granted like water whether its Overtreatment or undertreatment.

Very good filter system with a couple flawsThis seems to be a well made filter system however I have experienced a couple of issues that other reviewers have noted. Two of the three pressure gauges are not showing pressure. The system was shipped with what appears to be a rubber gasket in the 1/4 inch NPT port. NPT is designed to seal at the wedge threads, therefore the gasket in the port is unnecessary (and likely contributing to the blockage.)The 1 inch NPT ports on the housing (inlet/outlet) are over-bored. NPT is a wedge thread. If the threads are cut too deep, then the ID of the female port is over-sized. I am certain that the ports would fail a No-Go test. I applied three wraps of PTFE tape. This is the appropriate amount of tape for NPT installation. Having to use excessive wraps of PTFE tape means that there is less thread engagement meaning a weaker union.I will attempt to remove the gaskets under the gauges and add more PTFE tape on the 1 inch NPT unions. Given the relatively low pressure (under 80 psi) there should be little risk of the union separating as the force generated at 80 psi is under 110 lbs. Stopping the leak at the inlet/outlet will make or break this purchase.UPDATE- I removed the leaking 1 inch NPT fittings, cleaned off all PTFE remnants and put 8 wraps of PTFE on the fitting threads. Then I removed the two gauges that were not showing pressure. As I suspected, the rubber gaskets installed in the 1/4 inch NPT port were causing the gauge not to read. I Removed both gaskets from each port, cleaned off all PTFE remnants (ports and gauge threads) and put 3 wraps of PTFE on the threads. After installation I opened up the system to water pressure and NO LEAKS, plus all of my gauges are working!NOTE- I noticed a drop of water on the right side of my single stage housing. I’ll monitor and fix if necessary.

Well water NOW drinkableDo you use Britta pitchers for well water? We did and NOW we don’t. I had my plumber install this water filtration system yesterday. Was it easy? No, because you’re limited to the inlet being on the LEFT side only on this unit. Luckily my plumber saw this OR I would have rated this 5 stars instead of 4 for easy to install. Copper is not cheap and when you have to loop the copper in order to install this you’ll understand. As for the water quality it’s crystal clear right and I don’t hesitate to drink my own well water now.So that you understand my system I’ll give you the order of what I have:1) Water comes in and goes first through an IRON tank, then through2) The water softener, then through3) The sediment spinner filter, then through4) The Express Standard Whole House water filters (this item), then through5) My water pressure booster as I didn’t want to lose water pressure throughout my house.Issue #1 – you MUST put plumber sealer on the o-rings at the top of each of the 3 water filter canisters BEFORE you turn on the water to your system or they will LEAK. Luckily this was an easy fix but something hopefully you will NOT forget to do after reading this review.Water will fill your gauges but no worries, that is normal and it didn’t affect registering the pressure. I didn’t have the gauge leaks that others reported on their systems. I had my plumber put in gauges before the water filtration system and after my water pressure booster so I know what pressure I have coming from my well and what’s going out of my pressure booster into my pipes. It’s week #1 – I’ll come back and revise my review with pictures and again after a couple of months of use.

Broken psi gaugesThis is a well designed filter, essentially three big blues tied together with a stainless steel cage. The only problem I have is they used faulty psi gauges and exchanging them is apparently not a thing, at least not without exchanging the whole unit.

  8. Client d’Amazon
