Nice Towel Warmer, Installation is AwfulThe Towel Warmer looks and works great. The installation is a PITA! There is no template included, nor are there dimensions for the mounting holes in the instructions. You have to measure everything on the towel warmer and transfer the dimensions to the wall. And all the measurements are metric so you are getting measurements like 3-3/16 or 18-29/32. When doing a hardwire install the screws for the cover plate are directly behind the right vertical bar and the setscrew for the bottom right mount is just above the tube for the wires (see photo), making the slotted screws for the outlet cover and the Allen setscrew for the mount difficult to reach. If I was doing this again I would opt for the plug-in installation.

Really impressed with the towel warmer!I was really hesitant about buying this product after reading some negative comments. Other ones that have the similar finish (brushed nickel/stainless steel) are almost double the price. The first one we purchased from Wayfair was the wrong finish so our loss because they don’t accept returns. I was thinking, thank goodness for Amazon’s return policy in case this doesn’t work. We had our contractor install a plug on the wall specifically for this towel warming. Unlike people on this review who had plug integrated with their light switch, out plug was a live wire. HELPFUL HINT – if you have a live plug like ours, we purchased the Amazon Smart Plug. Then you can program times you want it on or turn it off remotely if you forget to turn it off.It gets really hot so don’t touch the bars when it’s on. We have the warmer turn on an hour before showering and it literally gets the towels cozy and warm. If you accidentally leave it on overnight (we have done this but not recommended), it will get your 100% cotton towels crispy. The power button is a bit difficult to turn on and off because it is coated in plastic (obviously for your safety).

Very hot!What a luxury to have a nice hot towel after a shower. And even better to have said towels be dry and not mildewy for the next one!

A luxury product at affordable prices.I bought this towel warmer for my wife for her birthday; she loves it. It was easy to install. It’s very sturdy and heats the towels to just the right temperature. Not too hot, so you won’t burn your hand removing the towel. I don’t know about the power usage haven’t had it long enough to know. But it looks nice, and it works excellent, was easy to install. What more can I say. I found it to be an excellent value for the cost, but I bought it as a refurbished model, so I am pleased about that.

ExcellentRemodeling master bathroom and with the drywall removed took the opportunity of hard-wiring this and connecting it up to an Intermatic timer. The towel rail heats up really quickly and gets to just the right temperature. Cannot vouch for its durability (installed it in November 2020), but it seems well-made, so hopefully it will prove long lasting. Very good value as well; always a bonus.

Burns the towelsI like this heater for its looks and the warmth it gives to the bathroom. However it literally burned my new 100% cotton towels. Like a giant brown stripe over two of them where they rested on the towel warmer. I have an Amba towel heater in my other bathroom and never had this problem. I can only assume it gets too hot.

Loses heat over time – luke warm at bestBought this product a year ago and was great at first install – heated up quickly and was too hot to touch or hold for more than a couple seconds. Now it is only modestly warm with several parts feeling luke warm at best. I can hold my hand indefinitely on any part of the heater. Disappointed considering it was a built-in model and they are fairly expensive.

Works as advertised! Definitely “big” though!Seems to work great! Gets quite hot actually!!!Knocking a star off because it sticks out rather far off the wall (toilet paper roll for scale).Mine is hardwired and hooked to a smart switch, which has a built in timer to run 2 hours before I get up and 2 hours after I shower.
