Powerful and QuietVery happy with this purchase. It is much quieter than our old disposer. The only negative I have found is that the plastic flappers are very stiff and make it difficult to get food into the disposer so we have to work to push and get it in. I assume with time they will soften a bit and that will be less of a chore. I read a review from someone that they put a whole roast chicken carcass in and while I haven’t gotten that crazy yet I don’t doubt that it could handle it. Well worth the investment.

Quiet and powerful.This thing is awesome. I can’t speak to the install itself as I had my plumber do it the same time he replaced my sink and faucet. For mine, I can say all the instructions and paperwork appeared to be there and just glancing through the instructions look like they were pretty easy to follow. As for the unit itself and its’s functionality. It is so quiet and powerful. The old one we could hear at the other end of the house. With this one, we can barely hear it across the kitchen.

InSinkErator Evolution Excel 1.0This thing is a beauty, All stainless finish on the outside and dead quiet. I had to turn the water off to make sure it was running. Also there are complaints about the rubber inlet being too small, but i find it keeps items like silverware from sneaking down there and taking a spin on the grinder, it’s easy to pop food items down through when your ready to run. For sound level and smooth running alone, this disposal is worth the money all day.

super quietgarbage disposers are NOT all the same! this was a top of the line model and its totally worth the extra money compared to the cheaper ones. Its so quiet when running my wife didnt believe me that I had turned it on! install is as easy as it can be.

VERY QUIET!!!!My plumber told me with this 1 horsepower monster I could probably dispose of an entire body! Not that I ever would. This is a Ferrari of a garbage disposal. It’s so quiet that when the water is running you can’t even hear it.

Quiet, handles everythingWe are very happy with this disposal. First, it is extremely quiet. It handles everything we put down it very quickly and quietly. The plumber took 15 minutes to install. Worth it.
