nice size, temp control a bit inaccurateWe bought this to replace a GE wine cooler (no longer made) that lasted about 12 years. We bought the optional 5 year warranty since it was pretty inexpensive although I’d much prefer not to need it.Likes: As the pictures show this is an attractive unit and doesn’t look out of place in the dining room. The capacity is sufficient for holding some bottles for near-term drinking and some for longer aging. The unit is pretty quiet when the compressor is running.Dislikes: after letting it run a few days to come to thermal equilibrium the temp control is at 59F to maintain 54F inside as measured by a Taylor wired probe thermometer in the middle of the case. The light for the temp is bright at night and doesn’t appear to have a dimming control so I covered it with a few layers of removable blue painters tape. It would be nice if the unit was an inch or two wider so bottles have a gap between them.

Great wine fridge, and good value!I bought this fridge to replace a 20 bottle non-compressor fridge that failed. Works great, temp is reliable, and capacity is good. I did find that some of my bottles were too long to fit in the racks, which was not a problem with my previous fridge. However, the bottom section is like a basket, and the longer bottles can lay flat in that space just fine.Overall I think this fridge is a good value for someone with a smaller collection of bottles that need to be kept cool.

Capacity overstatedShelves are not really wide enough to handle 5 bottles so you won’t be able to store 34 bottles. LED showing temperature is too bright. Other than that it seems to do what’s expected and I am pleased.

SIDES GET UNCOMFORTABLY HOTThe side panels of my unit got uncomfortably hot when the unit first cooled down and they stay warm even after cooling down. This makes me nervous, even though I was told this is normal by the dealer. I cannot imagine using this unit in close quarters. It needs a lot of breathing space to radiate heat away.

It was Ok, until it wasn’t.I bought this unit last July (21) and it arrived while I was out of town. i finally got it up and running, and all was fine.Fast forward to August 22 and one morning I noticed the unit was showing a temp of 70 degrees. Well that’s not good.So I tried the temp control on the front door, it appeared to be locked up and would not work either up or down. I unplugged it for 5-8 minutes seeing if a “reboot” might solve the issue. Nope.Came to Amazon to pull up my order info, and then contacted Ivation to ask what the warranty period was. Turns out it’s 12 months/1 year.I then replied back with my issues, and honestly received a response fairly quickly which was nice. The service/warranty person gave me some things to try after I gave him all of the info on what had been done, what was happening, etc.I tried everything he suggested, and late that night turned the unit back on. Woke up to it still reading the 75 that it showed when I shut it down last night.So I contacted Ivation again with the results. But because of the short warranty period (in my opinion) and even though I was out of warranty by just a month, there was nothing they could do other than suggest I take it in for repair.Let’s see… pay a $75-$100 fee to have a tech look at it (if I can find one) only to tell me they can’t repair it, can’t get parts, etc. I think I’ll pass and just buy a new one.But you can dang sure bet it won’t be Ivation brand, why buy more junk?My advice is to avoid Ivation at all costs ( I’m basing this on being in the electronics industry for 40 years now, and knowing just a little bit on how things work, and how good companies handle warranty issues like this)Sorry Ivation, you had a chance to make this right, lesson learned by me.

door handlei struggled for over an hour to try to get the handle on. Then i read that the screws were too short. unbelievable that you would ship a product with defective parts. I went to my screw collection and found 2 crews that worked. Sorry, but you really screwed up

Good product but could be betterGood for the price, but could be better. My biggest disappointment is the light. The light only lights up the 2 top shelves and is barely noticeable. When the light is on, you barely see the bottles inside. Wish the light was brighter.

I don’t know if I like it?I built the opening for the cooler based on the measurements given. It is taller than it says. Now I have to destroy the hours of work I spent building. YOU NEED TO PUT THE ROUGH OPENING SIZE!!!!!!!!! Including feet and hinge.
