    AMAZING Filter!I replaced the 5 micron filter bag on my 1982 Jet 3HP 230V Dust Collector and it was a perfect fit. Zero modification. So happy with less dust in the shop now!

    Missing partThe canister works great! However it was missing the snap ring that holds the bag so I ended up using a rubber bungee to hold it tight and it works great so I just kept it.

    Excellent Filter – And MoreThere are enough write-ups about the quality of this filter (and others like it), so I won’t waste words on that. It’s excellent, very easy to install, and the cleaning paddles do a good job of shaking loose the dust.I was pleasantly surprised to find that this filter package includes the metal band for holding plastic bags in the bottom of the dust collector, as well as five clear dust collection bags. So if you are upgrading from the two fabric bag configuration of the DC like me, this package actually includes the parts needed for the whole conversion. You don’t have to go special order that band or even plastic bags (right away, at least).

    Great accessory – really cleans up the shop airMy Jet dust collector came with a bag that only filters the air to about 30 microns, which actually discolored the walls around the collector. This filter canister leaves the air in the shop much cleaner than it used to be. It’s also very easy to keep clean – just rotate the handle a few times and the dust cakes fall into the collection bag below.Also, the description did not mention (at least when I ordered it) that it comes with 5 plastic collection bags as well. The combination of these accessories collects more dust than ever before and keeps the shop a lot cleaner.

    The unit arrived in good order. Unpacked the canister and discovered the unit …I ordered this canister for my Jet DC 1100 duct collector as advertised. The unit arrived in good order. Unpacked the canister and discovered the unit was larger than the housing on my dust collector. Called Jet and discovered my system was one of the older designs and the canister would only fit the newer unit design. I had no idea the Jet DC 1100 had two different versions with the same model number and that my system was one of the older units. My unit’s housing was approximately 18″ across and this canister fits a housing that is approximately 20″. The advertisement also stated the unit was a 1 micron unit, yet the shipping information states it is a 2 micron unit, not sure why that confusion exists. One can purchase a new housing so the canister will fit but in doing so you will push the retro fit price close to a new one. Returned the unit without incident.
