Works ok I guessI was cleaning the filter system due to mold on the filters and one of the black caps flew off and I noticed the core is nothing like what the picture shows. These filters do not remove fluoride and when I bought this system I didn’t know that. Now they sell an additional piece to remove fluoride.

Odor and poor tasting waterVery disappointed in this item nice looking unit well made except for small dent n front which I was willing to accept until I tasted the filtered water. Water has an odor and poor taste. Does not compare to Britta so it’s going back.

I bought this to use while camping to ensure we constantly have good drinking water and this holds so much more than I thought it was going to. In total, this holds almost 3 gallons of water which when I said it, I didn’t think it was a lot until I opened the box and saw this water filtration system in person. When it comes to using, I made sure the whole thing was put together before testing this at home. The instructions that comes with this water filtration system is very detailed on how to put it together and use it. I filled this with regular tap water that usually has a weird chlorine/metal taste to it. I then compared it to the water that is filtered through my fridge and even a bottle of water that was purchased at the store. After tasting all 3, my family and I all chose the water that came from this water filtration system. Really does give it more of a clean taste. When it comes to using while camping, we take it empty and will fill it there once we get to our spots. This is similar to using a beverage pitcher with a spout. No matter how many times we have used this, it’s been on 3-4 camping trips, the water has tasted crisp and clean. Not only does this save us money on buying water for our trip but it’s so easy to use.

I’m impressed!I purchased this item on prime day for about $170. I absolutely satisfied with the purchase. I wanted a Berkey, but I just could not let myself spend $400+ on the model I wanted. This one is 2.9 gallons (not three). I’ve had it for almost a week now and so far so good. I fill the dogs’ water bowls with it, use it for cooking water, and of course drinking water for me and the fam. I especially appreciate the stainless steel spigot and included stand. Those would cost extra with a Berkey! At some point, I’ll probably replace the filters with Berkey filters, but I’m glad I saved $$$ on the unit itself.

Great for camping and outdoorsThe media could not be loaded.
The one thing that surprised me is how portable this water filtration system is. When it comes to storing this in my garage, everything fits inside of the container itself and hardly takes up any space on my shelves. This also makes this really easy to transport too. I not only got this for camping but for the just in case of emergencies too. What is really great about this water filtration system is there is no weird taste or smell. We don’t like drinking tap water because of the taste and smell but with this water system, we have not had that issues at all. When we get the water out, all that we taste is something that is very refreshing. No weird after taste either. We have even started using this for at home use and has turned out to be not only cheaper for us but we are constantly refilling this because of how much more water people keep drinking since getting this. Easy to refill and so easy to use.

Where is the spigot??This product does not come with a dispensing Spigot and it was very difficult to remove them in a container to assemble it. It looks really nice on my counter but it is useless without the Spigot.

Leaks from every jointIt leaks between the top and bottom as well as from the faucet. I keep it on the drainboard of the sink to wrangle the leaking water from between the two sections and keep a large pitcher under the leaking faucet to gather the water. It’s a total mess and with water leaking every which way, it seems unsanitary as well.
