Bought this for the price & size. Good deal for the price.What I hate:1. There’s no spring on the freezer door, so it does not automatically close. Several times I’ve looked back at the fridge and notice that it’s just sitting there 4″ open after I pulled some things out.2. I didn’t realize that this was a priority until after the fridge was installed- but the bottom shelves & drawers in the fridge are just too low to the ground to be convenient for me at 6’2″… I feel bad mentioning it in a review bc I did not consider this at all when purchasing, but it’s a real headache after getting used to the last model having the freezer on the bottom.Things I love:1. The price. The fridge died when money was tight (of course), so we were rushed in our shopping process. They were very few fridges that fit both our budget and the space between our cabinets where the previous fridge stood, & I am very happy with the price that we ended up with. This is the most important thing in my book.2. The thing gets very cold. Maybe it’s just because my other fridge was so weak near the end of its life, but this thing is beyond fully functional- & I dig it.

MagneticWe waited weeks for this unit.It was delivered with a fair sized dent on the left side at the base.I would send it back but it does work and frankly it too much trouble.Heres some things you need to know;First is that stainless steel is a non- ferrous metal which also means not magnetic.However this is.The stainless looking metal is on the doors and handles only the rest is painted dark grey.It takes 24 hours of running before the unit gets cold enough for food.You need at least 2 ” clearance on all sides of this unit so it will operate properly.Both of these are clearly noted in the owners manual.The dimensions and interior features are as described.

Looks nice works bad!!!!Nice big refergator veryvery roomy after about a week everything started to freeze in the whole refergator called Sears people they came out and checked said the thermostat needed replaced so the ordered it came back only 1 part came in so it’s still freezing up I have had to throw out food because of the freezing fruit and vegetables I am 74 and on fixed income I will never get another kenmore.

Took some time with ice maker, terrible customer serviceWouldn’t make ice for days. Couldn’t up load proof of purchase so couldn’t get help with service. Also beads of ice form inside freezer, top where door closes. No help to get service!!

No light in the freezerThere is no light in the freezer section, The assembly of it was incomplete causing the frost free not to work. The led light in the frige is very dim. The grey color darkens your room. Amazon was understanding with the return process because if you have to return it and it has to be disassembled you will come into a problem , having that done if you do not put assembly on you original order. The team that delivered it assembled the doors and there was a part left of the the freezer door causing the freezer to sweat. Also the ice maker takes up a lot of the space you may think you will have. But Amazon did all they could do to resolve the issue.

Attractive, well built basic refrigeratorVery similar inside to the 30 year old Kenmore it replaces. Considering the fact that today’s appliances are designed to last 8 years, I’ll be happy if we get half the amount of service as the old model.We bought the unit for a rental house and we’re pleased with its appearance. It runs quietly and keeps food at a constant temperature. If your water pressure is high, the sound of water recharging the ice maker is noticeable, but not aggravating. If you’re accustomed to a top loading/freezer on the bottom refrigerator this unit might disappoint. Like all such units, it’s hard to see what’s in the back of the fridge. Loading and retrieving food requires stooping and bending.The crew that Amazon sent to install the refrigerator was outstanding. They were cordial, professional and thorough. How they navigated this unit through our narrow kitchen door without a scratch is beyond me, but they did it. They didn’t leave until the unit was installed and running perfectly and they cleaned up every scrap of packing material.Curiously, Sears had this model for the same price – but they wanted over $300 for a 3 year warranty . Amazon offered a 3 year warranty for $80 – plus free delivery and haul away of the old unit.

They worked fast, were punctual, set it all up, hauled the old one out, all without any complaints, were pleasant, professional and courteous!!All the above especially high praise due to My inability to find a refrigerator in stock, let alone show up for delivery during covid-19!!!! Thank you Amazon for not selling products you don’t actually have in stock! (Like two other well known stores that did it to me AND had me sitting home waiting for it to come!!!) I never thought of buying a large appliance from Amazon but you’ll be my first choice from now on!The refrigerator is great! It’s huge inside, has a ton of shelves and is merrily cranking out ice cubes as we speak! I have no complaints whatsoever! Doesn’t show fingerprints either!Very happy!!!
