DO NOT BUY WITHOUT READING THISI bought the Minn Kota Terrova 80lb trolling motor with MEGA Down Imaging, I-pilot, and I-Link through AMAZON and took it to an authorized Ranger Boat dealer for installation. He asked if I fished docks, I told him, yes. He informed me about a feature on the Terrova that I would not be happy with. BUYER’S BEWARE, the foot pedal on the Terrova is different from other foot pedals you may have had on your boat. The Terrova foot pedal has a button on it for running the prop, it rocks forward for turning right and backwards for turning left. These pedal functions WILL NOT DO BOTH AT THE SAME TIME. In other words, when you are going straight ahead and rock the pedal forward to turn right, the prop will stop and the head will turn, then the prop starts again. If that’s what you know and expect from your trolling motor then you’re all set. If that’s not what you’re used to then I caution you against making the purchase. Contact your local Minn Kota dealer to confirm what I was told. Hope this helps.

Love this motor!I can troll, anchor, follow a route all with the press of a button (or 2). You are committing to using Hummingbird though if you want to network this motor- there is adapter for other brands but does not work as well.

So far so goodAs expected. Bit of a learning curve from my previous powerdrive. Remote is great.
