Better than expectedReally impressed, didn’t expect much at that price but was pleasantly surprised that it was much better built than I thought, easy install (you DO have to figure out where on arm), we spot welded ours on and gave it a try first. We are going to order more now that we know what we’re getting, Excellent value, solid built, we have picked up tree debris, boulders, logs, without any problems or damage. You DO have to know how to operate a machine with this on, if you’ve never used a thumb before then take some time with it, completely folds out of the way when not in use.

Total misleading addMisleading add! not 1/2 thick teeth .364 thick where 1/2 should be .500, also NOT bolt on, also add says Hydraulic thumb and it is not! MISSING PARTS also! waste of time and money. should have just made my own. also the communication from them is text or email not a real person

Good productAll and all I’d recommend this thumb. Was definitely more welding then I expected. I knew it had to be welded to the excavator but didn’t know it thing comes in 7 pieces and requires a couple hours of welding to put together. After I put 1 hard days work on it with my 24 hp excavator I’ve started to rip through some of the metal. The angled piece is starting to fail and I’ll have to repair/replace soon. Also lost several pins on the first day. Seems like they just want to pop right off.

Wrong infoThere is no part 1/2” thick as advertised it is 1/4” and 3/8” thick looks ok but has an important weak point which needs reinforcing before use so extra 3/8” plate and be able to be a good welder

Product was as describedVery heavy duty, easy to weld (parts were very well designed and fit extremely well). Be prepared to do some serious welding. Operation is goodand works as it should. Very happy with the end product and performance.

Nearly 1/2 in thick, you have to do some welding.I actually bought this to use for parts to widen my grapple on my front end loader. Worked great. The teeth metal is 0.47 in thick, so a tiny bit less than 1/2 but close enough. The side parts and top plate are thinner .31 and .35. The angle u iron looks 1/2.
