Nice Socket SetI work on friends and family cars only. Lately I’ve been very busy on weekends working on cars. I’ve been doing easy repairs like shocks/struts, brakes/rotors, alternators, starters, full tune ups and simple oil changes. I wanted to buy a portable 1/2” socket set with no skips in sizes and came across this one while randomly browsing. Price was fair and the case looked somewhat compact. It’s been more than 30 days and I’ve made repairs in 12 cars so far only using this set. The sockets held up and can take a beating! I paired them up with my Milwaukee 1/2” Stubby and 3/8” Fuel Ratchet with adapter. The sockets were able to survive the high speed impact! No cracks nor warps! Just scratches from regular wear and tear but that’s it. I definitely enjoy this set and get so much value from it. Has all the right size sockets and they are of amazing quality. I would definitely recommend this set to any weekend warrior or any one just looking for a great deal on a long lasting impact socket set!

Used daily and going strong.I got the 1/2 and 3/8 sets for something to beat up on for a bit. They’ve honestly surprised me. I use them daily, putting them through every torture test you can think of. 1500 + pds of tq consistently with no issues. Sizng is both stamped and etched. Great sockets especially for the price.

Tough Set, Got a lot of Use Right AwayDid a full front and rear suspension replacement as well as oil pump and timing chain on my ’05 Avalanche. These stood up to the abuse very well. My impact that puts out 500 lb ft but that wasn’t enough to get the crankshaft bolt out, so I put my 1/2 in. breaker bar and a 5 ft pipe on that to get it off. I have no idea what kind of torque I put on that socket, but it was surely well of 500 lb ft and it didn’t break. I had to torque the new bolt to 240 lb ft as well. These are easy to read and the sizes are etched into the sockets as well for when the print wears off, which is inevitable with enough use.Big plus for this set is the adapters that come with it. You’ll get a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter which is a big help. The only downside is the set comes with a ball style adapter for getting in tight spaces instead of a universal joint style, so it doesn’t squeeze in as tight as a universal style would.

Good quality for the priceCan’t complain for what you pay for it compared to the name brands. Works just as well in my opinion. I’m not a mechanic using it every day but for someone who just needs to use them occasionally they work great.
