Saves EnergyHeats water only when you need it, so it uses less energy than a tank-type water heater; and it produces less greenhouse gas emissions, making this a sustainable choice. |
Saves MoneyBy using less energy, these tankless water heaters can save you on expensive operating costs compared to a standard 50-Gallon gas tank-type water heater. |
Saves WaterAs part of Rheem’s sustainability commitment, our tankless gas water heaters include a Water Savings Setting. When this setting is enabled, water waste is reduced by up to 1,100 gallons per year* * Based on Department of Energy (DOE) test procedures |
Saves SpaceRheem indoor condensing tankless gas water heaters are small & compact – saving you valuable space in your home. They can easily be wall-mounted in tight spaces – like in a utility closet, attic, or storage room – and only need ½” clearance on both sides. |

Additional Benefits
- Enjoy Continuous Hot Water – Rheem tankless gas water heaters provide continuous hot water, so you’ll never run out at any time, even when there are numerous back-to-back showers.
- Reduces Energy Consumption – All Rheem tankless gas models automatically adjust the amount of energy required to heat the water you need. This modulated technology increases efficiency and reduces energy consumption.
- Promotes Better Air Quality – Rheem incorporates emission reduction technology for better air quality. All models meet or exceed stringent government standards in all 50 states.
- Easy, Convenient Control – Rheem’s tankless remote electronic thermostat allows easy adjustment of water temperature ranging from 85˚F–140˚F in two-degree increments. The unit can also be turned ON or OFF simply by pressing the power button. In addition– detailed diagnostics are digitally displayed whenever there is a need for service or maintenance.

Easy installationThe unit is exactly as advertised, and includes complete instructions in case one has not done this before. The included gas valve was a plus. Although the unit arrived with a small dent in the side, that was easily repaired so the cover panel seals just fine now. The only negative I can see is the wall hanger is fairly flimsy-looking, but since most of the force on that bracket is vertical, it seems to hold OK. This heater is quite heavy, so I recommend a partner when lifting it onto its bracket. Continuous hot water at the correct set temperature is the result, and I highly recommend this particular model if 199,999 BTU is the right range for your water heating requirements.

Worth the investment!Installing a tankless water heater is more involved than a tank heater, but this was a great experience installing the Rheem system. Rheem made a bracket that made it easy to hang the unit in the wall (it’s heavy!). The ventilation and fresh air connections just slide in and are secured by band clamps. I used an isolation valve kit, which is well worth the $60 it cost. When I had everything hooked up, I simply turned on the valves, and turned the unit on and I had hot water! How awesome it is to have endless hot water for our family of 7! Worth the investment!

Great value & well madeIt came in a very sturdy box, with plenty of foam padding, & a great instruction manual. The Rheem factory customer service hot line is excellent, and they speak real English, answering my questions in very simple easy to understand terms. Plenty of never ending hot water. I can run my dishwasher, washing machine, and two bathroom showers, all at the same time, without running out of hot water. It uses 50% less gas than my old tank water heater, and came with a 5yr full guarantee. It needs periodic maintenance to keep it performing properly, that takes less than an hour to complete, but saves money in the long run. Anyone needing a new big water heater, should consider this American product.
