Great tool when used properlyExpensive for a homeowner but maybe not. I have a 1968 ranch home with a 4” cast iron main sewer drain. It’s about 65 feet to the outside clean out. Sadly the outside clean out is a one way sweep towards the septic tank (which is dumb). I cleaned my pipes from two inside clean outs.I used the combination of an electric pressure washer and sewer jetter and the Ridgid K9-204 to unclog the main AND descale the cast iron drain pipe. It works great! Not cheap but given I will need to do this every few years the math says buy it. Don’t abuse it and it will treat you well. The only issue I see is that after about 50 feet and a couple of pipe joints and/or wyes you won’t be able to advance it. It might be 75 feet long but you probably will struggle to get all that in the pipe. I found some Dawn dish soap helped in moving it down the pipe. Or, use the supplied lubricant.It removes scale incredibly well. Keep the cordless drill speed at its maximum, set the clutch so it breaks free with your hand gripping the drill chuck, and run cold water when using. The results are incredible. In my case it was cheaper than a professional (somewhat due to my rural location).

Very impressedIt works better then expected. I I specialize in descaling and hydro jetting. Used it for the first time yesterday and it did a good job although the chains did wear pretty fast.

Just want my money back at this pointI own a large sewer and drain company we have hundreds of pieces of drain cleaning equipment this works but I had it less than a month and the end of the cable broke in the machine I had nothing but problems with it I took it to a service center they sent it to Ridgid it is 3 months later and I do not have the machine or an answer of what’s going on with it at this point I feel like I’ve been robbed they have the money and the machine they blame it on the pandemic but all the other companies I deal with have been super fast and getting everything fixed because they know how bogged down companies like mine are I’m real glad that I invested almost $2,000 in a machine that I haven’t had in three months that I got to use four times I know that Bridget used to be the best but they’re a long way from that at this point this will be the last rigid piece of equipment that my company ever buys

Too short.It does work but the biggest disappointment is the length. 70 ft is way too short. Really kinda bugs me and i might just sell this to get the big one.
