Product Description
The Spectra Precision LL500 Laser Level is a one-person leveling system designed for longer range measurements across your entire site. Accurate, stable, and reliable, it features a 1,650 ft (500 m) working diameter that increases productivity by reducing the need for multiple setups on a large job site. Kit includes LL500 Transmitter, HL700 Receiver, alkaline batteries, and heavy-duty case. The LL500 is ideal for a range of jobs, including checking and setting elevations, concrete forms, footings, and foundations for medium to large sized jobs, as well as longer range machine control applications. You can also tackle excavating, digging footings, and septic tanks or sub-base leveling. The HL700 receiver features a digital readout of elevation that provides a numeric display of +/-2 inches (5 cm), displayed on the large front and rear LCDs which show exactly how far the elevation is from on-grade. To save you time, accurate measurements can be made without moving the rod clamp. Selectable units of measure can be displayed to meet your application: millimeters, centimeters, feet, decimal or fractional inches. A 5-inch (13 cm) reception height, more than double the industry standard, allows quick acquisition of the laser beam, and an anti-strobe sensor prevents false readings from site strobe lights. A capture function captures and retains a measurement when the display is difficult to see. The LL500 transmitter is backed by a 2-year warranty, and the HL700 receiver is backed by a 3-year warranty.

The LL500 Laser Level is easy to read, even in full daylight.Two-Person Leveling with Just One Person
Machine control compatible, the LL500 is ideal for a range of jobs, including checking and setting elevations, concrete forms, footings, and foundations for medium to large-sized jobs, as well as longer range machine control applications. You can also tackle excavating, digging footings, and septic tanks or sub-base leveling with skid steer loaders by using the LL500 with the CR600 Receiver (not included).
Laser Level Offers Long-Range Accuracy
The LL500 features a 1,600-foot (500-meter) working diameter and accuracy range of +/-1/16-inch at 1,000 feet to increase productivity by reducing the need for multiple setups on a large jobsite. To improve efficiency, the LL500 is self-leveling with a built-in out-of-level shut-off that maintains accuracy over the entire work area while minimizing errors. And to make it easier and faster to find the on-grade position, a visible “spotting” beam determines receiver mounting placement.
Temperature Compensation for Precise Readings
Designed to deliver optimum precision, the LL500 boasts temperature compensation for highly stable, repeatedly accurate readings, even under dramatic temperature changes. Two power options–alkaline or rechargeable batteries–keep the unit working consistently to minimize down-time due to power loss.
HL700 Receiver: Accurate and Easy to Use
The perfect partner for the LL500, the HL700 Receiver accurately measures elevations across the jobsite. It is compatible with any rotating transmitter.
The HL700, which can be used in rod-mounted or hand-held position, features a digital readout of elevation that provides a numeric display of +/-2 inches. The readout is displayed on the large front and rear LCDs and shows exactly how far the elevation is from on-grade. To save you time, accurate measurements can be made without moving the rod clamp, and selectable units of measure can be displayed to meet your application: millimeters, centimeters, feet, or fractional inches.
A 5-inch reception height, more than double the industry standard, allows quick acquisition of the laser beam, and an anti-strobe sensor prevents false readings from site strobe lights. There’s also a capture function that captures and retains a measurement when the display is difficult to see.
Incredibly durable, the HL700 is built to survive harsh jobsite conditions: it’s completely waterproof and can withstand a drop of up to 10 feet on concrete. The HL700 is backed by a three-year “no excuses” warranty.

Works greatReally enjoy the accuracy and be able to go from setting up at 1/16″ and adjusting sensitivity to 1/8″ for field work or higher as required. Really helps laying out rebar for the Nuclear project I am on.

Workers needed to be part of decision making.Receiver works but is extremely cumbersome to use.

Nice laserAwesome laser, i like that it has less going on that the fully auto self leveling ones. U get it close within 1 degree and turn it on amd it does the rest. It DOES NOT have a height of instrument alarm. If it gets bumped and goes out of 1 degree it will stop but if it gets bumped and is still within that degree it will spin again wich is actually pretty unsafe for building.

Well built lazerI’m glad I got the 500 and not the grade below it. It came with an excellent hard shell plastic case. I have been using it for a month now and have had no issues including accuracy. It’s probably more than I needed but I like accuracy so this fits the bill perfectly.

Seems to work fine.Used it for shooting grades on a driveway I’m adding material to. The instrument worked as advertised. The rod mounted receiver is a little cumbersome to use.
