great grout, absolutely great buy!can I give it 10 stars? first, the sprectralock epoxy grout is worlds better than regular grout. It doesn’t absorb other colors from spills, etc, doesn’t seem to crack and stays looking great. We have over 2000 sq ft of tile, which we have installed and grouted ourselves- just me and my son. first two rooms using regular grout and eventually I will be removing most of that regular grout and replacing with laticrete sprectralock. this is the first time I purchased online, and I expected to get 4 sets of part A and B. I did get 4 sets, but the bags I got were 4 times as large as the stuff I have been purchasing for twice as much as I paid here. for this set you will need FOUR 9 pound boxes of colored sand ( part C). I had assumed that this set would give me enough for one 9 lb box of sand, as that is what I had purchased before. This is a great buy! a few hints from this 60 year old grandma- don’t use all the sand, leave out a small amount and it’s easier to work with. make sure you have a sponge that has a “scrubby” surface on one side. It’s an absolute necessity. As soon as you are done start cleaning- do not wait 20 min. use the scrubby sponge in a circular motion first, then wipe clean, rinsing often. If you need more cleaning water, use dawn in your first cleaning, and use vinegar and water in your final rinse. As tired as you get, you MUST clean up right away. this grout will NOT come off later. I just used one package of a and b, plus the 9 lbs of c and I must say that my muscles are screaming. The clean up is the hardest, bending over again and again. One more hint, that I did not do, but for the very first room we grouted with regular grout, I was in the middle of the cleaning process when my oldest son came home. I asked him for help as the room was huge and I had done the whole room. He got out a floor mop and it worked well. I’m not sure how it would work for this grout, but I would think it would work for the final rinse. Just an idea. This is great grout and a great buy.

Looks greatI remodel bathrooms for a living and this is the first time for me using epoxy grout. Everything looks great.I would suggest DIYers not use this product in showers or walls. I mixed the epoxy resin and sand in half batches and was able to apply and clean without product setting up too fast. When you mix resin with sand(part C) do not use all sand provided. It will be too thick to work on walls. Mix half of sand supplied and add as necessary until you achieve a useable mix.

Excellent! But follow the directions and have the manpower on hand.Excellent supplier and superior performing grout but you must read and follow the instructions. Takes at least two or best three people working per batch to get it down and cleaned up before it solidifies. Expensive but the best I’ve found. Installed a batch recently and three years ago. It’s a bear to work in but what I did three years ago is perfect. Much better than the progrout sold locally. Worth the effort.

Follow instructions to the dot! This is one review that I have to write as reviews by others have been tremendously helpful to me and I want to contribute too for others to benefit. For starters, cement based grout is OK for non bathroom applications but for bathrooms good quality epoxy grout gives you a lot of peace of mind. Have a conversation with your contractor on the type of grout to apply for your bathroom, if they already have quoted epoxy grout, great, if not then insist on epoxy grout and pay the extra money for additional labor and the material to install epoxy grout, its well worth it.I had my entire bathroom redone with 12×24 porcelain tiles, floor to ceiling and mosaic floor tiles. So it was about 80 sq ft of mosaic floor and 260 sq ft of wall. I had my bathroom work stopped after tile was laid due to COVID-19 restrictions that gave me plenty of time to read up about grouts and plan properly per my needs. My contractor wanted to put cement based grout and with my worries about water damage, I wanted epoxy based grout and I was worried that my contractor would rush the grouting work, even if I paid him more for the extra day’s work. All these reviews that people have left was tremendously useful. Without repeating whats already here, let me state my findings -1. Many have recommended a “mini” batch per session of grouting. I did that ….. on my mosaic floor …. and with 2×2 tiles, each mini coverage was about 8 sq ft and each session lasts about 30 minutes for an amateur like me. So please take the size of your tile into consideration also to decide if mini is the size to pick per session. I was able to grout 1/3 the Full per session, please note that this was for mosaic floor and during colder months.2. Please also take the time of the year into consideration. I grouted in early April when weather was cool, the grout doesn’t harden as quick as it would in summer or in warmer temperatures.3. Grouting the wall with this was much more time consuming than the mosaic floor. On the 12×24 tile with 1/16 grout size it took more time to grout. 260 sq ft of wall was a lot of grouting work.4. Clean up, I followed instructions and I did not have any issues on the mosaic floor. On the wall though, some times haze is not visible and you can only see it in different lighting. I used to check the next day and found an easy solution with non-abrasive steel scrub that we use to clean kitchen utensils and that worked well to remove any left over haze. I used vinegar mixed with water in such cases and it worked pretty well. All in all, I used up 1 complete contractor pack, 1 Full pack and 3/4 of another full pack for grouting. It cost a lot more and took 3 times the labor but has given me complete peace of mind, especially with the tiled shower.
