    Tomahawk has great customer supportThe plate compactor was shipped directly to my house in a well built crate. It felt like I won the grand prize like in the movie A Christmas Story. The machine started right up and worked perfectly. It is easy to handle and really does a nice job of compacting the ground. The benefit of going with Tomahawk Power Equipment is they do support their machines with parts on hand. I did a ton of research before purchasing and found that Tomahawk was the most affordable equipment with the best support. My equipment is for home use but this compactor could easily be used on a daily basis out on a jobsite.

    Does the job.I’m a homeowner so don’t i can’t vouch for longevity.We disabled the cut off circuit after first use. This is std on this Honda motor but on a vibrating machine and at angles? Not a good thing.Starts like a champ. Compacts road grade and gravel as well as the more expensive unit an excavator we hired has. Paid for it in a week considering the what the excavator charges.

Arrived quickly, easy instructions, started the first pull, my first job I needed to compact I got 98% compaction on the test results. Very Pleased!!!

    No assembly instructions and Melts it’s wheels.No assembly instructions.Also, do NOT run the compactor with the wheels attached. The exhaust blows directly onto a wheel and melts it!
