    Stand Build Instructions Pathetic!Absolutely the worst assembly instructions I have ever seen. Don’t know why a little more time was not put into the instructions to make the stand easier to build.

    Decent but has a few issuesFirst off fantastic unit. Assembling the base took about an hour, the instructions were piss poor for telling what went where. Aside from that I tried it out on a two inch slab of curly maple. It couldn’t do a full turn off the handle when attempting to plane. It stalled out and popped the breaker that was built in. Half turn and it seemed happy enough. DeWalts planer can handle a full turn on this kind of wood but costs a lot more. This unit functions does the job is quieter then the DeWalt version and has a dust port that can be hooked up to a shop vac with a fernco adapter from home Depot in the plumbing section. All in all I’m not dissatisfied with the unit. Other major draw back was a 13″ peice won’t go threw. Gas a cutting board that got stuck in the middle and had to save down the sides just a little bit.

    Satisfied, but…The planer does well for hobby projects. Disappointed that replacement blades are not currently available for the 13″ model.
