Requires extra tape to remain up for extended timeThe tape did not hold over a day before it pulled from the wall. I reinforced with some duct-tape. Zippers seem to be well made. A useful solution to dust management.

Tape that comes with it works poorlyThe tape that comes with this was unable to hold up the zip door or stick. Other then that it works just fine

Perfect for RenovationThis product exceeded my expectations. It’s just what I needed to close off an area due to renovations. This product helped keep my family and home safe from the dust and debris that comes with renovations!

Great productThese are very well thought out. The poly is very thick. The double faced tape goes on really simply and if I can do it anyone can. When you install the “brackets”, they come in through the back. A bit confusing, but easy to solve. Very secure. Highly recommended

Happy customerI bought this to seal off my bathroom under construction and it works like magic. I instantly feel the temp change to cold from the remainder of the house when I enter and that tells me that the product works. The only complaint is surrounding the adhesive seal… I have to apply pressure around the door every couple of days to keep the stick. I ended up using duck tape too as extra support. This is a cost effective solution to sealing an area off.

Very sturdyI used this to cordon off part of my house as a quarantine measure, not for construction, but I was none the less impressed. The plastic is strong, the zippers are sturdy. I used the double stick tape provided, around the edge of the door trim. It’s very strong and I fear I will have a mess when I remove it. But the trim could use painting anyway so I’m not too concerned. I would not trust the tape long term on the wall. It’s very strong. If I use this again for construction I would probably raise it up in the doorway so that the bottom just touches the floor a little bit, rather than a foot of plastic lying on the floor ( see picture) but for my purposes it didn’t matter. If you taped the side edges down to the floor for even better dust sealing , I think you could still go in and out using just one zipper. If you had to take things in and out you might zip up both zippers. If your doorway is wider than the plastic you would have to work something out with adding plastic to the sides. Mine is just over 4 feet and there is extra plastic. In all this works great.

Good unit. Sturdy. Installation was different for me than typical. The wall worked really well to seal up the room. My installation was actually on a door frame, but it still worked well.

Tape was a NIGHTMARE!Would have given more stars if it wasnt for the defective tape. One third of the way through the roll of tape, it suddenly had only one protective layer of paper. I was forced to re-use the protective layer from the prior strips of tape, attach it to the roll of tape, and slowly roll out the tape – repeatedly!! What a tedious hassle. I would have returned for a refund, but I wasnt about to remove the tape & put it back on the roll for the return. Im sure this isnt the first time the tape manufacturer has packaged a defective roll of tape. It may ordinarily take minutes to apply, however this took 20 MINUTES!!

Depends on what you use it for. Many reviews complain about the tape adhesion when used as a temporary dust shield. My use is different, when we moved to our new home I set up my shop in the garage and needed a dust wall to protect the cars and other items but didn’t want to build a solid framed wall. I installed 1×2 inch boards on the ceiling and hung a 3 mil plastic drop cloth, then for the door I framed an area the dimension of the ZipWall, also in 1×2’s, and instead of relying solely on the double sided tape I stapled paint stir sticks along the sides and corners. When I’m creating a lot of saw dust I just zip it closed, and when I’m not sawing wood it rolls up and out of the way. It’s been almost 2 years since installation with no signs of wear. I guess I could rate it differently if I relied on the tape adhesion but left that item blank since it’s not relevant to my application, but for people using it as a temporary dust door they could use the same method as I describe.
