Awesome customer serviceTwo cameras failed after a few months and customer service quickly fixed it by sending new cameras. Picture quality is perfect. Night vision is great. Would recommend.

Support center is great, unfortunately you will probably need itI’ve had this system installed since March of 2019. I was never that impressed but the price was great and I just put up with the problems. With the pandemic, I had lots of time to research and try different things. I now have a system that I really like and it works with only minor glitches, which I think all systems have. The first issue I wanted to fix was the local monitoring via a tablet. I found that my tablet had to be Android 5.0 or greater, so I got a cheap 10″ Android 9 tablet. That let me get the app working but it kept hanging with various DVR errors. The DVR management screens said there was no update available, but I checked the ZOSI website. Turns out the DVR just looks for a firmware file plugged in to a USB slot. There was an update, I just had to download it to a USB memory stick, plug it in and restart the DVR. That fixed ALL my local monitoring issues. So then I decide to go for the remote monitoring. I tried and tried to get logged in to the ZOSI smart app. The registration went fine but it would never accept the password that was just set. The support center finally set the password for me. Once I could sign in remotely, everything worked. All his took many interactions with the ZOSI support center. They were always very helpful and had good recommendations on things to check. Ada was assigned to my problem and was very prompt with her responses. I now have a very useful security system thanks to the pandemic and ZOSI support.

Probably the worst surveillance system i’ve ever had. Why is this getting any good reviews????????Where do i start, OMG.So, to start, it wouldn’t come up on the screen, long store short, the resolution in the DVR is set to high, and would only come up if you have a really REALLY nice TV, once you get in, set it low so as to work with any TV. Yeah, that took a while to figure out.The phone app never worked (main reason i bought this) will not give you a log in screen. took two days to get logged into the DVR admin thing, randomly trying different things plus youtube videos was the only way i got in.Instruction manual is completely useless, either its outdated info or it was for another DVR, nothing in it worked and the directions nothing like the options on the screen.Once you make a password, you can’t change it (removed battery, the whole 9 yards) nothing worked as it said in the manual or internet.Randomly starts beeping and stops recording (mostly at night) till you reset it (didn’t do it everyday)It will randomly change camera settings to motion from record all time (green to yellow) had to check it everyday to see if it changed.Will not transfor any video to any external drive on any USB port, had to use another camera recording TV screen.Anytime it loses power, it resets everything to (accept the password) and stops recording and then skips hours of feed or erases everything. If it didn’t erase everything when it resets to 10/03/2021 time stamp, pieces of video is cut up and scattered everywhere on random dates and time.Can’t have power to DVR and camera’s on same feed, it shots off right after start.FINAL STREW!!! (because yeah, made it this far, IDK either) our spare car was side swiped and the other party left the scene, went back to watch only to find it had stopped recording a week prier (camera’s were still on green this time) and now won’t record at all, just shows camera’s live, won’t record on any setting now.This camera set was so absolute garbage it wasn’t the slightest bit funny.I’ve got a old 4 channel night owl set i bought like 6 years ago, works great, never any issues, i just wanted something i could look up on my phone when away. I bought this because of the reviews and i couldn’t find a night owl set right away in amazon, so thought i’d try it WRONG!!!!! should have known for the price this was to good to be true. Found a 8 channel night owl set i’ll get next, hears to hoping thats not a disaster to, alot more expensive, but hopefully works.Bottom line, DON”T BUY THIS!!!!! I double and triple checked i was setting things right, but it had way to many issues. I just don’t understand how this thing has any good reviews, maybe i just got a bad one, but jeeesss, how can something have so many issues like that. IDK, i wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. i’d look at other camera sets, i don’t have my night owl one yet, but my old one works fine.Buy at your own risk!

Works as describedI’ve had these installed for about a week now. I’ve only spent a total of 5 minutes looking at images – first on a television, then on a computer monitor. Everything looked great. I also ordered a four pack of 100 foot cables; the included lengths weren’t quite long enough for 2 of the locations I wanted to put cameras in. If Zosi wanted any recommendations, it would be exactly that – instead of including eight of the same length cables (I think they were 60 foot cables), offer a couple of lengths. I’d love to hear from someone who said that 60 feet was the perfect distance for all eight cables – what do you live in? A round house?? So, do a couple of 30 foot cables, some 60 foot cables, and maybe a pair of 100 foot cables.Also, it was slightly annoying, (but equally my fault, since the cable ends are labeled) but to you reading this and installing the cables, here’s something that happened to me – I was going to be running 4 cables through my attic. The first 25 feet or so, they were all following the same path. So, to make life easier, I unwound the cables across my front yard, and zip stripped them together for 25 feet or so. And here’s what I realized as I started cursing from the top of a ladder an hour later – of the 8 sets of cables, 7 of them were wound the same way – one set had the ends reversed from the other 7 sets… I unwound them all the same way, stopped checking after the first several cables, and ended up with the camera end inside the house, and the dvr end outside the house for one of those four. If it weren’t 120 degrees in the attic, I’d have laughed about it.Overall though, I’m quite pleased. The cameras are only there for peace of mind; crimes in the area are very low, but now if something unusual should happen, I’ll have video evidence of what happened. I will update this if there are any problems within the next year.
