Good value but cheap materialI revised my review from a 3 to 4 stars. I really like the night vision, My experience has been most night vision cameras with IR lights, attract a ton of insects and start the motion detection recording all night long, This camera is set on high sensitivity and no problem with the bugs. The night vision is still effective. Actually I would order this again, contrary to my comments below.Overall OK. Picture is good and night vision ok. Mounting base is cheap plastic and kinda tricky to install. But for the price what can you expect. Would not order again but since it is installed will keep it.

Drill size !System is great, had to run wires through my siding so i needed a ridiculously large (1 inch) drill bit to fit the dongle at the end of the camera wire through the siding and wall. Other than the extra time and expense of a drill bit and siding grommets to fill the gaping hole its great ! Ended up using a 1 inch hole saw. The dongle at the end of the camera slid in like butter. Used 1 inch white grommets and looks great. To those who say its cheep plastic, i found it to be all aluminum chinesium. Careful with the allen wrench the adjustment screws and supplied wrench are also chinesium.Picture great zoom is good with no pixelating.Its not a professional system but its not $3,000 either.Love it so far !!!

Works great with my systemItem arrived as promised and the picture of the camera on the site was the one you received and it works fine with my system, when I put in the order I only ordered one to see if it was compatible with my system and it was ,,so I then ordered 3 more of the same.very happy with the cameras.

Impressed by what it is.I was impressed of how well this camera works, so far. After some more evaluation I may replace two cameras from my first system with this type of camera. I like the way it can be mounted at almost any angle and the lens can be adjusted so you can view the proper view.

Cheap is only, “good.”Wow… So, this is now and all plastic-y camera… The optics are pretty good, and good color, but I never thought I’d see a fully plastic camera base… I’ve done a lot of CCTV camera installs, so none of this really threw me for a loop, but for the “first timer” it might be hard to figure out how to go about installing this. Hint: Go slow and figure it out BEFORE you get near a ladder. After that, it’s mostly just a matter of juggling things until you get it all up in the air and pointed the way you want it. And, once it’s all set, it just MIGHT stay where you put it. Might… There’s no way to tighten the base to hold the camera ball, and oh yeah, you’ll have to drill a HUGE hole to tuck in the “4 way” tiny joystick that manages the camera settings. But, if you go slow and work carefully you’ll get a little more than you paid for. Not a bad camera – just a lower quality situation in terms of mounting – and probably, longevity.
